Changelog

Every update, every law change.

A public log of every form added, feature shipped, and Canadian law tracked. When provincial or federal legislation changes, your forms change too. Updated continuously by the LegalPath team in Edmonton, Alberta.

Forms

British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec live, 5 provinces + federal

Catalog grew to 166 forms across all 5 major provinces + federal. British Columbia includes WESA wills and Representation Agreement framework. Manitoba uses Vital Statistics common-law registration and The Wills Act. Quebec applies Civil Code of Québec throughout, with liquidateur terminology, mandat de protection (unified POA), and TAL tribunal. Every province card on the homepage now reflects its real form count automatically.

Platform

Comparison pages: /vs/willful, /vs/epilogue, /vs/legalzoom

Three honest comparison pages added. /vs/willful covers Canada's most popular online-will service. /vs/epilogue covers the lawyer-founded estate-planning specialist. /vs/legalzoom covers the US giant (with a warning about filing US templates in Canadian courts). Each is feature-by-feature with no marketing spin.

Platform

FAQPage + Product + Breadcrumb structured data live

Schema.org structured data deployed across the site. Every form detail page now ships Product + Offer + BreadcrumbList schemas. The FAQ page ships FAQPage schema, which makes its questions eligible for Google's rich-results FAQ snippet. Better SERP appearance, more click-through.

Platform

About page, /vs/willful comparison, /api/health monitoring endpoint

Three new public pages. /about names the founders (Brandon and Jeff) and the five rules we will not break. /vs/willful is an honest feature-by-feature comparison with Canada's most popular online-will service. /api/health returns 200 + database status for uptime monitors. /api/health does not require auth and exposes no sensitive details.

Forms

Ontario province fully live with 33 forms

Catalog grows to 68 forms across 11 categories. Ontario includes Waksdale-aware termination clauses, LTB N-forms and L-forms, last-month-rent-deposit framework (Ontario does not permit security deposits), Family Law Act equalization, and Substitute Decisions Act POA structure. BC, Manitoba, and Quebec authoring in progress.

Platform

Three new public pages. Refund policy explains unused-purchase refunds, downloaded-document limits, quality guarantee, and up to $100 filing-fee reimbursement for defects on our side. Security page documents data residency in Canada, encryption, PIPEDA + Law 25 compliance, and breach notification. This changelog logs every form, feature, and law change going forward.
